The original designed 'Soft 'n Sharp' cushion on the inner part of the handle gives a soft feel softening the impact of cutting, which can be especially beneficial to sewers with sore hands. The outer section is in conrast toughened to give excellent strength and durability. These scissors have an upper knife edge blade which produces a smooth cutting action. The longer length blades are exceptional when cutting fabric, and are the preferred choice of professional tailors.
