This is a crinkle cotton poplin, in a two-tone ombre effect - where the colour changes gradually from one shade to another. The colour changes from one selvage to the other - down the fabric length.

It is ideal for dresses, it has a crinkly surface, and does not require ironing to retain the crinkle effect.To pack away simply gather along the length, in the direction of the crinkle, and twist lightly into a knot to keep the crinkle effect just like the Fortuny dresses.
